After I read from my new novel, Broad Reach, I had a little time left over, so I grabbed my banjo (handily held by my friend, Marc Silber), and played Go Tell Aunt Rhody, and the audience all joined in. I also had a drawing for four free books from The Elizabeth Books, plus one copy of Broad Reach, and people left with big smiles. Someone was heard saying, “It was like a party!” How nice!
